Video Tour Process

We believe that one of our most important assets is our production process. By following a tested process, we're confident that the project objectives will be achieved in the shortest time with consistent results. We follow this general process for video tour projects, so that we most accurately depict your communities best assets.

1. Initial Meeting

We ask questions via a virtual conference call to understand the scope and time frame of your needs.

2. Research & Creative

We accumulate location data of each community and create a strategic schedule incorporating the least amount of travel time and best time of year with full foliage. We also gather emails and phone numbers of each point-of-contact at each community.

3. Pre-production

Once locations are determined we lock down transportation and other travel needs. We provide a detailed itinerary and database of what locations will be shot on what days.

The key is the communication with each community to understand it’s strengths. We email to each location  preperation instructions and a shot list of standard areas that need to be shot.
In addition, we ask for any unique areas that must be captured. We also provide an estimated day and time of arrival and give an additional day reminder to each location before arriving.

4. Production

Lights, camera, action! This is the fun part. Using our state-of-the-art cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and drones, we capture your communities best assets.

Upon arrival, we establish contact with a community representative that can assist us with navigating within the community and who can turn on televisions, fireplaces and lights.

To avoid disruption, we determine the best times to shoot the dining and activity areas.

As we video, we assess each rooms best attributes, remove clutter (if needed), avoid workers and residents, and create the best lighting possible.

Before leaving, we then review the production list to make sure every important asset has been shot.

5. Post-production / editing

This is where we really shine. After getting the shots, we bring them to life. We correct any unavoidable issues such as removing or adding video to televisions and adding fire to fireplaces. When music, motion graphics, and special effects are added, the feeling is special. And your audience is moved.

6. Revisions & Delivery

We post online the initial edit where you can easily review and markup. We're not going to stop until you're satisfied. Once you are satisfied, we will deliver the videos in the formats that work best for your web content provider.

Timeline: We can be as fast as five business days from the day of the shoot!
